Behzad Afshar-Naseri is an Iranian-American writer and sequential artist based in Stillwater, Minnesota. A Navy veteran, English scholar, and recent SCAD Sequential Art graduate, he creates stories that collide mythology, memory, and identity. His debut comic The Death of Ragnarök: Rostam vs. Thor launches on Kickstarter June 30, 2026, with upcoming projects including The Typewriter, The Wheelman, and Toxic River. He works under the studio name Simurgh Productions.
